After 5 years hard work, Haifeng and Huadong Petroleum University found a new way to produce ortho-phenylphenol by cycohexanone. We started to build a 2,000T/A of ortho-phenylphenol factory in 2003, it was put into function in March, 2004. Haifeng will be the second largest manufacturer of ortho-phenylphenol.

In other countries, it and its sodium salt is used in the preservation of vegetable, fruit and meat, it can be used in the fiber, protein material, cosmetic and other materials ( wood, textile, paper, adhesive and leather). It can be used as heat stabilizer of plastic.
