Socket Welding Forged Steel Gate Valve


The socket welding forged steel gate valve is designed to reduce the diameter. Compared with the cast steel gate valve with the same caliber, the flow rate is slightly smaller, but the withstand pressure and temperature range of the socket welding forged steel gate valve is higher than that of the cast steel valve, and the sealing performance is also required. Better than cast steel gate valve, longer life, the same medium flow direction as other gate valves are not limited.


 


Forged steel gate valves have three valve cap designs. The first type is a bolted valve cover. Valves designed according to this design form are connected to the valve body and the valve cover with bolts and nuts, and wound gaskets (made of 316 flexible graphite). When customers have special requirements, they can also use metal rings. The second design is a welded bonnet. According to this design, the valve body is screwed to the valve cover and fully welded. When customers have special requirements, full penetration welding can also be used. The third type is a pressure self-tightening valve cover. According to this type of design, the valve body is screwed to the valve cover, and the internal pressure is sealed from the sealing ring.

1. Full or reduced diameter 
2. Light rod with bracket; 
3. Both ends of the self-aligning packing press sleeve; 
4. Bolted bonnets with threaded washers, threaded seal welded bonnets, or self-sealing bonnets 
5. The body is sealed; 
6. Socket Welding ANSI/ASME B16.11; 
7. Threaded end (NPT end) according to ANSI/ASME B1.20.1.
