Product Detail

FRP--(Fiber Reinforced Plastics), in terms of fibers used differently, can be divided into several kinds: Glass Fiber Reinforced Plastics, Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastics, Boron Fiber Reinforced Plastics, etc. GFRP flat plates are composed of reinforced fibers and the substrate. The diameter of fibers (or crystal whisker) is very small. There are small and few flaws, with fracture strains of less than 30 per thousand. They are fragile materials which are easy to get damaged, fractured and corroded. The substrate, compared with fibers, is much lower in strength and modulus. However, it can bear great strains. It's ductile material with good elasticity and plasticity. Based on the length of fibers, FRP can be divided into short FRP and long FRP (also called Continuous Fiber Reinforced Plastics). In terms of fiber properties, they can be divided into high-performance Plastics and Engineered Composites.
