This patent device is specially designed for a woman to collect vaginal cells or HPV samples by herself. The foam brush can be very easily inserted into the vagina without any uncomfortableness. It provides confidential, convenient, safe and comfortable advantages for women who respect their privacy or who live in remote area. Each kit includes a foam brush and a cell preserving tube.

The cytology foam brush is innovative with the following features:
1. Design of Safety Block
The design of safety block assures that the insertion depth to vagina can be easily and safely controlled. It prevents the possible injury if the device inserted too far or avoids miss sampling when the device not going far enough.
2. Excellent sampling
The flexible foam head not only provides sampling comfort but also gives exceptional results as sampling body fluid, secretions and peeled off cells.
3. Sampling standardization
The way of rotation and insertion of the device are both fixed while self sampling. Therefore, sampling variations among individuals cut to minimum. The sampling way is nearly identical, which reduces the analyzing errors.
4. Convenient sample delivery
After sampling, the specimen can be transferred in a cell preserving tube which is easy and safe to mail or transport for analysis.
