INTRODUCTION

Tempered Glass is made from flat glass which surface form compressive stress layer with high mechanical strength and thermal shock resistance.

PROPERTY

Tempered Glass has good good optical performance, high mechanical strength and thermal shock strength. Surface compressive stress of tempered glass is more than 69Mpa, Impact Strength is 2 to 3 times of ordinary annealed glass, Bending strength is 3 to 5 times of ordinary annealed glass, all these performances make tempered glass safer.

When tempered glass is broken, stress release instantaneously because of internal tensile stress, glass block is broken into small particles of lightweight and without acute angle which will protect people from injury. Tempered glass withstand temperature range is 250-320C.
