The BT-333E is Bluetooth core specification version 2.0 compliant, and designed for use in standard USB application. The BT-333E use Broadcom BCM2045 bluetooth solution, the major features of BCM2045 include Adaptive Frequency Hopping (AFH), ScatterMode, QoS, eSCO, Fast Connect, LMP improvements and Synchronization.
Adaptive Frequency Hopping (AFH)
Gather link quality statistics on a channel-by-channel basis to facilitate channel assessment and channel map selection. The link quality is determined using both RF and baseband signal processing to provide a more accurate frequency hop map.
Collaborative Coexistence Provides extensions, collaborative coexistence, to the standard Bluetooth AFH that enables direct communication between WLAN devices and the Bluetooth device. Collaborative coexitence enables WLAN and Bluetooth to operate simultaneously in a single device. The BCM2045 supports industry-standard coexistence signaling including 802.15.2 and will support Broadcomand non-Broadcom-based WLAN solutions.
Using a multi-tiered prioritization approach called InConcertTM, relative priorities between data types and application can be set. This approach maximizes the performance-WLAN data throughput vs. Voice quality vs. Link performance.
Fast Connection
Support page scan and inquiry scan modes that significantly reduce the average inquiry response and connection times. These scanning modes are compatible with the Bluetooth version 2.0 page and inquiry procedures and are designed to be forward compatible to Bluetooth version 2.0 extension fast connection mode.
