GENERAL DATA
The meter KAO400 L1.5 is an oscillating disk mechanical volumetric liter counter designed and constructed for precise measurements during the diesel fuel and any other liquids compatible with the construction material.

Note: No compatible of Bleach, Hydrochloric Acid, Ink, Sulfuric Acid, and Salt Water

INSTALLATION
In order to set the partial counter to zero, rotate the rest knob clockwise, whereas the total indicator can’t be set to zero. Meters are furnished for horizontal piping; left to right flow unless otherwise specified. Flow ports can be changed to any of four positions for horizontal or vertical piping and for either direction of flow.
1. Find the direction for fluid to flow.
2. Install meter noting directional arrow on casting.
3. Unscrew the 4 retaining screws (Fig.1)
4. Rotate meter cover assembly to desired orientation.
5. Replace four screws.

CALIBRATION PROCEDURE
1. Fill container to a known volume.
2. Compare the value indicated on the partial/total counter with the real value of the container. If meter amount is incorrect, turn calibration adjustment screw (Fig.2 B) counter-clockwise for less liquid or clockwise for more liquid.
3. Repeat step 2 until calibration is acceptable.

OPERATING INSTRUCTION
For precise measurement and to prevent meter damage, meter and piping must always be filled with liquid and free of air. Meter should be calibrated per instructions in this manual prior to its use.
1. Reset meter to “0”.
2. Meter is ready for use.

MAINTENANCE & REPAIR
The meter requires no routine maintenance if it has been installed and used correctly. However, meters needing repair should be taken to an authorized repair shop or returned to our service center as below. Meters must be thoroughly triple-rinsed before being taken in for repair. If meter was used in other fluids other than petrol as specified, service may be rejected.
(Note: The meter KAO400 L1.5 with a seal tag on the setting plug(Fig2.A) to prevent any unauthorized adjustment of the calibration screw.)
