COMMELL announceS the Communication Appliance platform LE-564 based on 5.25" EBX dimension, with VIA Eden 533 MHz FAN FREE CPU. COMMELL LE-564 offers flexibility in providing support different Fast Etherenet including 1 Intel Giga + 3 x 100 Mbps Ethernet, or 4 x Realtek 10/100 Mbps Ethernet interface. It uses a Mini-PCI type III for Eneryption/Decryption card and CompatFlash socket for program and data storage. The LE-564 uses Phoenix Universal Console Redirect(UCR BIOS) technology to monitor POST messages ,run Setup & an operating system from a remote serial terminal. As such ,it becomes an ideal choice for firewall / VPN / Communication appliance.

To meet the requirement of POS, mail servers, automation and security applications, LE-564 also provided other feature, including one PCI Slot, watchdog timer, two serial ports, two USB, and single +5V operating.
