Foundries and metal processing companies must often analyze more than one base material and a rather long list of elements to ensure complete quality control. The SPECTROLAB F is designed precisely for these needs. Tailor-made for specific materials and customer requirements, the SPECTROLAB F is delivered fully calibrated and ready for use. The modular design allows for expansion, making the SPECTROLAB F an investment for the future.

The functional design and Windows 95/98/NT compatible SparkAnalyzer software allow the operator to comfortably analyze up to (and beyond) 200 samples per shift. The Self-Regulated Pre-Spark (SEREPS) automatically optimizes the pre-spark time depending on the quality of the sample surface. The Automatic Program Finder (APF) switches to the appropriate analytical program after the analysis has been made. The software can automatically calculate the mean value from several measurements upon obtaining a defined number of reproducible values. Finally, the analysis can be integrated with Statistical Process Control and Charge Design/Calculation software programs.

Preventive maintenance has been minimized by eliminating the requirements for complicated optic chamber heating and spark stand cooling devices as well as replacing the traditional vacuum chamber with the patented UV-PLUS gas recirculation system. The filtered and ducted ventilation, in combination with the slightly positive pressure interior, protects the system from dust enabling installation in less-than-perfect environments.
