The universal joint is made from fully carbonized and hardened SCM415 alloy with hardness reaching RC55-60. It is more than adequate to cope with most heavy torque-ed applications.Bearings in the universal joint are of heavy-duty type, and the gears are of helical beveled gears. Compared to the traditional worm gear, this universal joint can provide smoother operations and higher torque.
