Technical specification of steel tape

Steel tape is used for armoring cable, such as power cable, optic cable,
telecom cable, etc..
Generally, there are four kinds of steel tape widely used for armored cable
--Annealed steel tape:

--Gavalnized steel tape:

Nomrally, this kind of tape is being electric plated, therefore, its surface is
quite soomth but zinc coating is a bit low (Not more than 200g/m2), if high zinc
coating is required, for instance, not less than 200g/m2, the tape will be hot dip
galvanized, the surface is smooth too, but we can see dapples in the surface.

--Varnished steel tape.

This kind of tape is aslo used for armored cable with following technical
properties:

1---Appearance: Different color as per customers'
requirements, such as
yellow, gray, green, red, black, etc..
2---Thickness: 0.2mm-1.0mm
3---Width: 15-80mm
4---Tensile strength: 320-420Mpa
5---Elongation: 12% Min
6---ID: 200-220MM
7---OD: 500-600MM

----Copolymer coated steel tape.

The copolymer coated steel tape, is usually used for optic cable or
communication cable for corrugated tube, its normal technical property
is stated as below:

Thickness of steel tape: 0.155+/-0.015mm
Tensile strength: 320N/mm2 Min
Elongation at break: 15% Min
Copolymer thickness: 0.058+/-0.013mm for both sides.
Bond strength: 3.5N/25mm Min
Reel length: 2350M
Reel inner diameter: 152+/-2mm
Reel width: 1) 600-650mm (width tolerance: +/-5mm)

2) 400-420mm
