ABOUT FREEFORM TECHNOLOGY

1 Three dimensional specification of design variables

We can now design progressive lenses in three dimensions, thereby allowing complete control of all designs.

2 Ray tracing evaluation of the optical system

The unique system of Ray and Wave front tracing makes for efficient evaluation of standard power and astigmatism parameters, as well as more serious aberrations, thereby improving users quality of vision.

3 Design development using surface optimisation and computation algorithms

The technology develops a surface recognition system that allows for accurate combination of the prescription and progressive surface on the same side of the lens. This system makes it possible to provide more precise atoric progressive lenses on the concave side.
