  Beijing Supower Company is the first that has adopted the laser cutting technology to cut PCD, PCBN, CVD diamond as well as single crystal diamond in large quantities in China, and it is also the first one in the world that has adopted the laser cutting rather than wire EDM to cut PCD and PCBN blanks in large quantities. Our excellent cutting quality and competitive price are well recognized by customers at home and abroad, and our technology is regarded as one of the best in the field of super-hard materials.
The advantages are as follows:
1. High precision of location. The error of location could reach 3 microns.
2. Narrow laser path. The kerf width of between 0.02 and 0.15 mm brings the significant advantage of increased yield.
3. Each arris after laser-cutting is smooth without any notches, even observed under the 100X microscope.
4. High speed. Compared with conventional wire EDM, our laser cutting can increase cutting speed by up to 100 times.
5. We can laser-cut regular and irregular shapes needed for tool inserts, even if very complicated shapes are required.
6. Minimal damage would be caused, hence cutting edges out of diamond and PCBN cutting tools can be laser-cut perfectly.
7. We are also competent in laser micro-machining.
