  Our company is in accelerated development of 10 Gbps long wavelength VCSELs, DFB Lasers, and 10 Gbps to 40 Gbps EA modulators, to create high performance fiber optic building blocks, which will satisfy the ever-increasing bandwidth needs of enterprise networks and service providers. A 10 Gbps transceiver and transponder product family, based upon Optech proprietary LW-VCSEL technology for 10 Gbps Ethernet and OIF OC192 applications is in final development and will be offered in 300 pin Transponder, XENPAK and XFP multisource agreement (MSA) form factors.
Optech is currently shipping 1 Gbps to 2.67 Gbps, serial and parallel fiber optic transmitters, receivers and transceivers to support Gigabit Ethernet, Fibre Channel, ATM and SONET, as well as proprietary applications. Optech products are available in industry standard MSA configurations including GBIC, Small Form Factor "Pluggable" (SFP), BIDI, CWDM, TX, ODM (Optical Digital Monitor),10G XENPAK and XFP.
