  2 MIX is one of acoustic insulation products for Walls, Party Walls and Partition Walls
1. The 2MIX composite consists of two layers which have been given a fire-retardant treatment. The first layer comprises a dense bulk polymer matrix treated with a fire-retardant material. The second is a textile fibre felt held together by synthetic resins. The difference in the densities of the matrix(2400kg/sqm)and the felt (50-100kg/cbm)helps achieve effective noise reduction.
2. The different densities of the sheet and felt allow for optimum sound damping.
3. The so-called 'spring effect' is achieved, deadening noise.
4. The components are treated and have a fire resistance of M1
5. Placing 2 MIX on the noise emitting side of a brick wall with a width of 5 cm yields a sound damping value of 36.8 dB
6. 2 MIX is ideal for insulating exterior walls and the interior of plasterboard drywall structures. When used here, it absorbs the drum effect of the spaces inside walls
