  TE-DS8 series network disk video recorder is an excellent digital surveillance product, using the most advanced technology in information industry such as video/audio encoding/decoding, hard disk record and TCP/IP. It has both features of digital video/audio recorder (DVR) and digital video/audio server (DVS) . It can work stand-alone or be used to build a powerful surveillance network, widely used in bank, telecommunication, transportation, factories, warehouse, irrigation, etc.

Function:
TE-DS8 series network disk video recorder adopts high performance embedded real-time multitask operating system (RTOS) and embedded CPU to perfectly implement all the functions needed to build a surveillance system. Burning all the software in FLASH makes system more steady and reliable.
Compression function:
Support max 16 channels video in. Each channel can be compressed independently in 25F/S (PAL) or 30F/S (NTSC), and CIF (or QCIF, HALF D1) resolution, using H.264 algorithm. Both variable bit rate and variable frame rate are supported.
Support max 16 channels audio in. Each channel can be audio signal can be compressed independently, using OggVorbis standard. The output bit rate is 16 kbps.
The output video and audio stream can be complexed to generate the complexed H.264 stream. Video and audio coincide with each other from beginning to end when complexed stream is played back. Video only stream is also available.
Support QCIF, CIF, HALF D1 resolution.
Support multi-zone motion detection.
Support position configurable OSD & LOGO.
Support watermark.
Network Functions:
Support TCP/IP (ARP, RARP, IP, ODP, TCP, PPP, PPPoE, DHCP, SNMP, etc).
Support broad-band transmission (ADSL, etc.).
Support narrow-band transmission (PSTN, etc.).
Streams of one or more channels, Net DVR's running state and alarm state can be accessed through network.
Net DVR's parameters can be set through network.
Support remote control of PTZ.
Streams can be recorded in a remote host PC.
Files in Net DVR can be downloaded to or remotely played in a remote host PC.
Support Net DVR remote upgrading.
PC hosts can gain direct control of Net DVR's RS-232 or RS-485 port.
Support voice talk between host in surveillance center (back end) and Net DVR (front end)
Support embedded web server. Browser can be used to access Net DVR.
Storage Functions:
Support hard disk sleep mode.
Support FAT32 file system.
Support cyclic and non-cyclic record mode.
Support network access storage (NAS).
Support USB flash disk, USB hard disk, USB CDRW for backup.
Support 6 record trigger mode: Scheduled, manual, alarm, motion detection, motion detection & alarm, motion detection | alarm.

Misc:
Support RS-485 interface keyboard.
User's friendly menu interface. Multi-level user priority.
Support part image sheltering in preview mode.
SDK and DEMO software source code can be provided to shorten application development cycle.
